Request Support

We can't wait to lend a hand!

As Friends of Pine Forest Elementary grows as an organization, we hope to be able to provide support to our students, staff, and teachers in a variety of ways.

We are starting small and grassroots because that’s the reality of where we are right now. But that doesn’t mean we can’t make a big difference in our school community!

Check out the ways we can support you below.

Simple, flexible support, right when it’s needed.

At the front of the school, you’ll find our Take a Task bulletin board, a space where teachers and staff can post small, actionable needs that others can step in and complete.

These are tasks that:

  • Take anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours

  • Require little to no supervision

  • Make a real difference in your classroom or day

✏️ Examples of Tasks You Can Post

  • Cut out laminated materials

  • Power-wash playground equipment

  • Organize classroom library books

  • Prep art or science supplies

  • Stuff folders or packets

  • Sort donations or supplies

  • Create bulletin board displays

  • Sharpen pencils/prep testing materials

  • Write encouraging notes for students

  • Light cleaning or organizing projects

👉 The more specific the request, the more likely it is to get picked up quickly.

📌 How to Submit a Task

Fill out a quick form and we’ll turn it into a posted task on the board!

🙌 Who Completes These Tasks?

  • Parents and caregivers waiting during the school day

  • Community volunteers

  • Church or nonprofit partners

  • Anyone who wants to help but doesn’t know how
